History &
Education:

Mr. D’Armond  grew  up  near  Eugene, Oregon  and pursued scientific training in mathematics and geology, receiving his BS degree in Geology from the University of Oregon.  He has also completed an MBA degree with honors from Illinois Benedictine University.

While pursuing his studies,  he designed and taught a course in geology and evolution for gifted children.  Later he worked  in exploration field geology for heavy and precious metal deposits for the U.S. Geological Survey.

In 1971,  following service  as  an officer in the U.S. Air Force,  he represented  the  education  unit of  IT&T  Corporation,  presenting programs for high school students.  He is currently a professional geologist with an environmental engineering company.

December of 1973  saw  his  conversion  to  Christ.  In 1975, he became convinced, after much study,  that the evolutionary theory of origins was neither provable nor scientifically valid, and that  the Creation account in Genesis was scientifically much superior as a record of the beginnings of the universe and life.
