SCOPE AND SEQUENCE K - 3
Physical Science and Life Science Strands
Each grade level
builds upon both a physical science and a life science strand that are designed
to thoroughly prepare the student for higher grade activities. You can be satisfied that these hands-on
experiences are NOT a collection of unrelated experiments, but rather
build a solid science base. The
“hands-on” process skills approach will help the student think creatively and
critically, so that he or she will understand the significance of what science is.
Additionally, most of the experiments can easily lend themselves to
teaching more than one grade level at a time.
